US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP
Hello Coaches.
Badgerland Lacrosse and the Norski Lacrosse Club require that all coaches be US Lacrosse Members. Please go to US Lacrosse website (https://www.uslacrosse.org/coaches) and click [JOIN] up in the right corner of the site. This does include a background check.
The membership needs to be renewed every year. The club does reimburse this fee for coaches.
The background check is good for two years.
EDUCATION & LICENSING
Coaches,
US Lacrosse is our main source for coaching courses and materials. You can get started here. Badgerland Lacrosse isn't going to check for certifications this year but Norski Lacrosse strongly encourages all our coaches to be at least level 1 certified. It is a simple thing to do. There is an online course to take, followed by a classroom session of a few hours. Check the Coach News link for upcoming dates or check the US Lacrosse website.
